Practical Next Steps

Also, be sure you are getting proper rest.  Most people need 7+ hours of sleep per night.  If you are not sleeping enough, that will only worsen your anxiety.  Additionally, good nutrition really makes a difference too.  Try and limit processed foods and incorporate a variety of fresh healthy foods.  Avoiding excessive caffeine can help as well.  Another really helpful thing is exercise.  Get outside, go to a park and take a walk.  The fresh air will do you good and walking will help you release some of that anxiety and help your situation not feel so overwhelming.
