If you’ve recently had unprotected sex, you may be concerned about an unplanned pregnancy. Before taking the morning-after pill, be sure to understand what it is, how it could affect your health and how it works. Make an appointment with Care Net Pregnancy Center. Be Informed

The Morning-After Pill, sold over the counter as Plan B One-Step®, Option 2®, and My Way®, is intended to be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. It is NOT the same as the abortion pill.

What If I Am Pregnant?

The morning-after pill cannot be used more than 72 hours after unprotected sex. It is not the same medication that is in the abortion pill. If you suspect that you are pregnant, why not make an appointment for a medical-quality pregnancy test, so you can explore your options.
