Morning After Pill
What Is The Morning-After Pill?
If you’ve recently had unprotected sex, you may be concerned about an unplanned pregnancy. Before taking the morning-after pill, be sure to understand what it is, how it could affect your health and how it works. Make an appointment with Care Net Pregnancy Center. Our staff will be happy to discuss the morning-after pill with you and advise you on your options based on your situation.
The Morning-After Pill, sold over the counter as Plan B One-Step®, Option 2®, and My Way®, is intended to be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. It is NOT the same as the abortion pill.
How Does It Work?
If you’d like more information about how the morning-after pill works, how you will feel after taking it, and what risks are associated with it, the staff at Care Net Pregnancy Center are available to answer your questions.
Our staff can answer your questions and help you decide what to do next. Make an appointment now to discuss these and other questions that you may have.
What If I Am Pregnant?
The morning-after pill cannot be used more than 72 hours after unprotected sex. It is not the same medication that is in the abortion pill. If you suspect that you are pregnant, why not make an appointment for a medical-quality pregnancy test, so you can explore your options.
